Absolutely phenomenal. Lamano in Davao City is a must-visit if you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming-perfect for a night out, a date, a special celebration or just looking for an absolutely amazing meal. The service? Impeccable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about making our evening memorable. We got to meet the two owners Mark and Jaru who were amazing hosts. Mark is also the head chef and shared with us the inspirations to the amazing creations we got to experience. Now the food-just wow. Every dish we had was a standout. The Sangria was the best I've had refreshing, perfectly balanced, and dangerously drinkable. The fresh local fruit inside it made it into a much elevated ecperinece. The ceviche was fresh, zesty, and so well-seasoned. And the spicy sigsig flatbread? A flavor bomb-crisp, savory, and totally addictive. I could have eaten every slice of it! And nearly did! The Paella was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And to round it all up the dessert!!!!! The Ube Tres Leches was absolutely out of this world-decadent, dreamy, and unlike anything I've tasted before. Lamano is more than just a restaurant-it's an experience. If you're in Davao City and looking to treat yourself, this is the spot. I'm already planning my next visit. Heck, I might just move here just to be able to enjoy it on a regular basis!!!!!

First impression, first visit: nifty interior, modern sleek seating, and pleasant staff throughout our midday meal. Relaxed ambience as the place only had two filled tables at that time. Seafood paella, Salpicao, and Calamari were pricey yet savory. Portions fit for groups of at least three people. Embrace the calm during the day as it transforms to stark opposite when nighttime falls (stretching to 1 a.m.) Firmly, a recess in the South highly rated by locals and yet to be discovered by strangers.

Service is okay. They were able to make amends to a situation, and waiters were attentive and courteous. They can probably watch discreetly from a distance when people start eating. The tables are small for groups with large orders like what we did. We wanted to try as many as we could from the menu, and there were 6 of us. Drinks were amazing but food tasted average, although, presentation was good. Most people would enjoy this place.

I really wanted to order a drink (alcoholic), but it so happened that I was celebrating my birthday with family, and the kids were with me. I loved the ube cake and even loved the paella negra. The crispy pata wasn’t that crispy, though. The truffle Caesar salad had an amazing taste. We had a great time and felt kind of fancy eating there. The romantic ambiance, combined with the rain outside, made it perfect.

1st Class dining in Davao! At our first visit (i write a review, but maybe it was deleted?) we need to wait 40 Minutes for the first (out of 4) Cocktails, the last one arrived nearly after one hour. But yesterday we gone there for a dine, and... Very good! First Cocktails and food arrived maybe 5 mInutes after ordering. But nothing pre-cooked. Anything fresh! And tasty! We enjoyed our evening very much. Nice Ambience, very friendly and attentive Staff, everything clean and new. At the beginning, they had a strict Dress-guide. They don't let my family enter. Maybe also because they arrive in a Tricycle and not in a Limousine. No problem, there are some other good Restaurants at the compound, so we left a little fortune around the corner. Yesterday they are more tolerant. Not only to foreigner, also for Philippinos, that's good. The Restaurant, the ambience, the Staff could also be located 1:1 in Berlin or Hamburg or New York. Only one thing left: The Urinal is only for "Standard Philippino Size". If you enter in "International Carabou Size", you might get stuck. The sea of pee on the ground confirm this. But anything else is clean and good and friendly, the Lamano is one of the top dining experience in Davao, and located at the new top Dining street in Davao. Even if you have to meet international Customers, you will be satisfied with everything here.

Love the ambiance in Lamano. Started our lunch with their refreshing mocktails. We followed it with their signature kaldereta lasagna. The portion was good for couples to share and loved the black bread that came with it. I just wish the pasta was not overcooked and they added more sauce in the serving. Then came our seafood paella, that can be shared by 3 people. Surely they did not skimp on the seafood, and again, the flavor was on point. I just was not a fan of burnt rice, and it had lots of it. I love some crunch on my paella, but this one was just too burnt that it affected came off bitter in the end. All in all, I would come back to Lamano again and try other items in their menu.

I'm just a blue-collar expat guy and this is my opinion. I have to say I liked the place but was a bit disappointed. Walking up to the place was good, the exterior was inviting and the doorman was welcoming. We were greeted and sat at a nice table with bench seats. The waitress came over and did a great job. I ordered the cheese balls with no issue. I asked for the honey beer on the menu, but they didn't have it. I asked for the mango beer, but they didn't have it. I asked for the chicken cordon bleu...yes they didn't have it. I tried the other chicken dish paella, and an IPA. My partner had beef lasagna and mango lemonade. The cheese balls were very good. My chicken dish was a bit more than average, her lasagna was okay. She did like her drink and the IPA was okay. The waitress was very good. I have to mention that there was a big mirror on the wall behind us and a young gentleman waiter checked and played with his hair every time he walked by. It was funny. The atmosphere was great the music mixed well. I will recommend the restaurant since overall it was a good experience but for the price, I expected more.
